AUCTIONS - Auction Department Selling Conditions

Our charges are as follows:

Commission
15% + VAT of the hammer price on each lot or otherwise stated.

Insurance
All items left for sale are covered by insurance, this is charged at 0.5% on the hammer total of all goods sold.

Minimum Commission Charge
£1 + VAT is charged on all lots sold.

Unsold Items
£1 + VAT is charged on all unsold lots.

Electrical Goods
By law electrical goods entered for sale have to be tested to comply with Trading Standards legislation.

Removals
If required are charged at £14 per hour.

Disposal
If required is charged at £70 per Tonne ( Minimum 1 Tonne).

Advertising
Advertisements are carried in the regional newspaper and also on the internet with images if applicable.
Also approx 200 flyers are sent to all relevant traders and public both locally and nationwide.

All charges are deducted from the proceeds of the sale and are subject to VAT at the current rate.
